Welcome to Rhododendron Loft, a secluded 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom loft nestled in approximately 5 acres of forest within Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve. This peaceful retreat, freshly decorated and filled with natural light, offers high ceilings and a cozy atmosphere surrounded by trees. Ideally located, it's just a 5-minute drive to historic waterfront shops and restaurants and 15 minutes to city conveniences. The loft features a fully stocked kitchen with appliances, cookware, silverware, basic condiments, and K-cup coffee and tea. The dining table seats up to 6, and there's a work-from-home space in the upstairs loft area. Enjoy high-quality bedding and linens, an onsite washer and dryer with detergent supplied, access to popular streaming TV services, and firewood for the wood-burning stove. Fall asleep under the quiet night sky with skylight blinds open in the upstairs bedroom, and wake up to a flood of natural light and trees. The regular nightly rate covers 4 guests, with additional guest fees of $25 per person per night, up to a maximum of 6 guests. Well-trained pets are welcome with a fee of $50 per pet. Pet fees beyond one pet are processed manually after reservation confirmation. Whidbey Island offers a tranquil retreat with lush forests, quaint towns, and stunning beaches, ideal for nature lovers with ample hiking, kayaking, and scenic views. Coupeville, a historic town with boutique shops along the waterfront, is the second oldest town in Washington State. This property feels secluded yet is close to everything Whidbey has to offer: 3 minutes east to the Town of Coupeville, 15 minutes north to the City of Oak Harbour, 30 minutes north to Deception Pass State Park, 5 minutes south to Ebey's Landing, 7 minutes south to the Coupeville Ferry to Port Townsend, and 30 minutes south to the Clinton Ferry to Seattle. The best way to explore Whidbey Island is by car. This property is close to the OLF (Outlying Landing Field), so you will hear jets flying by, including F-18s as featured in Top Gun: Maverick. Cell service is spotty in the area, but enabling Wi-Fi calling and texting will help. The property has two separate houses, Rhododendron Loft and Island Hideaway, each with its own private entrance and no shared amenities. Strictly no parties or events, quiet hours between 10pm-8am, no smoking or vaping of any kind anywhere on the property, and no shoes in the home. A $500 fine applies per violation. Check-in and check-out times are flexible, but please communicate any specific needs in advance. Includes a work-from-home space in the upstairs loft area. Wi-Fi is the fastest available on the island, suitable for most entertainment and light working needs. For specific high-speed requirements, consider a hotspot or similar alternatives. A laptop computer is not included.
