Listed on the historic registrar, according to City Hall records this home was built between 1900 and 1910. One of two units that will be rented, there is a short walk to the downtown square, Whiskey Row, Sprouts Marketplace, and a number of other restaurants, bars and points of interest. The interior color scheme is reminescent of Pablo Picasso's "Blue Stage", which took place approximately the same time the house was constructed. With it's Art Deco accents, the color scheme is both calming and lively. Great pains have been taken to restore the woodwork throughout the house to accentuate it's character. The lighting for each room is superb, both during the day, where during summer the open windows can often offer a gentle, cooling breeze, and during the evening where the added auxiliary lighting makes the unit as seemingly bright as you would like. Enjoy the view of Thumb Butte out the front parlor window. This is truly a unique home, and this isn't even including the beautiful tree filled backyard, which provides a feeling of seclusion.
