    Stanley Martin pushed to meet a closing date that they were not ready for. Upon closing, there were several outstanding and unfinished items. The construction manager said that those items would be documented and something to sign by both parties would be provided to keep Stanley Martin accountable until all items are completed to satisfaction. This documentation was never provided and Stanley Martin pushed us to sign documentation stating that all home inspection items had been resolved, even though that was not true. We closed without signing that document. Post close, communication and responsiveness was poor. We feel like once we closed, Stanley Martin no longer cared about us as a customer even though they had several unfinished items on the home. Our relator had to be very aggressive to get the unfinished items completed and it took a couple weeks post closing.

    Our home was built efficiently and effectively. The communication could have been better. We have friends buying Stanley martins in another neighborhood, and they have received way more updates than we have. There were some things in the home that needed to be fixed that we are still waiting on. I understand the builders have a lot going on, but we can feel forgotten sometimes in this process
