Zillow Hosting Second #SeaTech4Change Volunteer Fair

Last spring, Zillow hosted our first ever #SeaTech4Change tech volunteer fair, bringing together 25 local nonprofits with about 150 volunteers from the greater Seattle tech community. The event was full of great energy, and it was an inspiring example of the positive change that can come from combining passion, talent and community.
After the great feedback from last year, we are excited to announce our second annual #SeaTech4Change volunteer fair, taking place Thursday, April 27, from 5 to 7 pm at Zillow HQ in downtown Seattle: 1301 2nd Avenue, floor 31. There will be food, drinks, a beautiful view and great people. We would love for you to join us!
We will use the feedback and learnings from last year to facilitate even more effective connections and promote greater collaboration between experts from the many amazing Seattle tech companies and local nonprofits that need their skills. And in an effort to further align the volunteer fair with Zillow’s vision of helping everyone find their way home — as well as to celebrate Fair Housing Month — this year’s #SeaTech4Change event will support nonprofits that focus on issues around housing and homelessness.
We are also reaching out to the greater Seattle tech community to join us for food and drinks and an opportunity to find an organization to volunteer with. The following chart shows the skills that this year’s nonprofits are looking for.
Please RSVP here if you can join us.
We have already closed our submission deadline for our 2017 event, and selected an amazing lineup of Washington-based nonprofits that are solving issues around housing and homelessness. If you would like to be notified of future opportunities to connect with skill-based volunteers, please provide your info here.
Nonprofits selected to participate this year include:
We are so excited to bring together the organizations making a difference in our community with the skill sets of our talented tech community. Please reach out to zVolunteer@zillow.com if you have questions about this event and RSVP here if you would like to find skill-based volunteer opportunities.
