    6 Beautiful acres with Hwy 56 frontage within Ector, TX city limits. The property is fairly square shaped and has Hwy frontage on the front and backs up to W. Cardinal Street giving numerous use options. City water and sewer are available. Pipe fencing along the front and wire fence on the sides and back. Electricity is available and has water access from both the front and the back sides of the property. The community started in the late nineteenth century when farmers settled near Caney Creek. Residents named it Victor's Station but, when informed by postal authorities that a town of that name already existed, decided to honor one of the pioneer settlers of the area, Ector Owens. In 1886, postal service to the community began. The tracks of the Texas and Pacific Railway reached the site in 1892. With an easy commute to Sherman, 20 mi to the west, and Denison, 22 mi to the northwest, this picturesque N. Texas community is a great place to call home.
