    What's special

DO NOT CONTACT FOR RENT TO OWN! NO RENT OR RENT TO OWN AVAILABLE. Selling for value in lumber and land. The house could be made livable again, but it needs rewired, and replumbed. Boy would it look nice. 9' ceilings in every room and every room is spacious. Someone took some time and spent some money on this place back in the day. The back 3 rooms downstairs are all gutted for the most part. The floor is also gone. It was in pretty bad shape and was in desperate need of a full replace as well as the joist below it. The house is built into a hillside in the back of the house and an active spring flows under the house. I believe the moisture from this helped rot the floors. No updating was done by the previous owners. Putting house wrap on the bottom of the joists would have helped tremendously. The floors and joist in the living room and throughout the rest of the house appear to be salvageable. Anyway, there is mainly oak in the house and some nice wide pine boards in the back wall of the kitchen. We did find a silver Peace Dollar in one of the walls while gutting. There is still a lot more gutting that needs to be done if you are wanting to salvage lumber. There are a lot of beams in the attic which I believe are oak. Possibly white oak. Everything in the Attic looks like it was put in yesterday. They werent afraid to use wood in this house. Just think of the rustic furniture you could make or the money you could make from selling those beams. We wanted to put this up for sale at the best price possible. This is as low as the price goes; otherwise, we will tear it down ourselves. Our idea was to salvage the lumber and bricks and then sell the land...maybe even do a little excavation to see if there are any old goodies hiding in the dirt. A metal detector would just go crazy because of all the trash we encountered that was left behind from the previous owners. WE WILL NOT RENT TO OWN OR DO A LAND CONTRACT! DO NOT ASK!! Thank you, and please contact me directly. Virgil Dove 540-476-1221 Email: planetsurfur07@yahoo.com
