Over 1,000sf of covered porches provide unobstructed views of the Davis Mtns. Separate warehouse could serve as a workshop and studio. This is the perfect space for folks looking to retreat, get away from busy urban life and rid themselves of distractions. We have wild scaled quail and many other wildlife. Ideal for remote work. Best suited for adventurous spirits who enjoy nature and simple living--for anyone who has been to Far West Texas you know it is a rugged and raw environment. The Location: Fort Davis is a small town with a deli and grocery store. You are about a mile from the edge of town and could walk/bike into town. You are about a 20 minute drive to Marfa, TX and everything is has to offer (food, art, etc). You are about a mile walk from hiking at the Fort Davis Historic Site, 15 minutes drive to Davis Mountains State Park, 30 minutes drive to the McDonald Observatory and Davis Mountain Preserve, 2 hour drive to Big Bend National Park, 3 hour drive to Guadalupe National Park, Carlsbad Caverns, and so much more.
