Views The absolutely stunning views are daily. Whether you get up to watch the sunrise or set a time for sunsets you’ll be anticipating another one. The always changing seasonal views are perfect and un-ending; this is really living on the lake scenes and never the same; always new and exciting. Also, the house because of its unique position on the lake has the feeling of being almost in the house with the home and the lake becoming one and the same feeling. And with the new building blueprints it will be even more so. Wildlife With Moose, Elk, Deer (especially in winter), and the bird-life being a continuum of images, moments, and wonder. Whether it’s Canadian Geese or Blue Heron or Bald Eagles there is always some kind of naturistic display unfolding before your eyes. Water The water is right out the back door! When guests come over the first thing they say; “This is beautiful. We haven’t seen a view of the water like this, it’s beautiful!” Of all the lakes in our area Silver Lake for some reason remains pleasantly un-crowded. Starting in June through September on weekends and holidays there’s usually about 8 platoon boats, around 15 boats, and a few jet skis. During the week a small number of fishermen come in the early mornings and evenings. October through May a small number of fishermen inhabit the lake unnoticed. When the lake freezes over usually in January and February a small number of skaters and cross-country ski folks brave the frozen terrain. With the new build the large viewing windows on both levels facing the lake will be stunning display of lake water indeed!
