    What the owner loves about this home
    It is only three years old. The sun floods through the large windows. The nine-foot ceilings make the whole house airy and light. Everything in the house is new and working well so I can relax, no improvement projects. I did convert a huge, 12 x 13 foot office loft into a generous bedroom with a private balcony which I like to sit on for coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. Outside, we have multiple dog areas and people walk their dogs throughout the little lanes of our neighborhood and stop to visit with each other. The location of my home is one of the main reasons I bought this home. Carson City is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and so the mountains are visible for as far as the eye can see. I can walk to downtown Carson City in ten minutes for dining, museums, coffee shops, the legislature building, the capital building, the post office, shops, public squares, Carson has a full calendar of social events, great schools, and easy access to bike trails and walking paths. If I want to jump in my car, I am 15 minutes from biking and hiking trails, a waterfall, the Carson River, the cinema, gaming, shows, Genoa which is the oldest town in Nevada with its annual Candy Dance, the oldest bar in Nevada, and miles and miles of open space and meadows with wild horses. Lake Tahoe is minutes away with its amazing clear blue water, beaches, rock climbing, forest, walking and hiking trails, the Shakespeare festival, the Renaissance Fair, skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, snow shoeing, sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, jet skiing, canoes. I think you will love this house for you and your friends and family.
