My wife and I bought this house in Oct. 2006. We have updated the kitchen with new hard wood floors and custom cabinets. We also replaced all of the kitchen appliances. This house used to have a one car garage, but one of the previous owners enclosed it and it is now an extra living room and utility room. The home has a very nice layout and is kid friendly. We have 2 small children and the house is just the right size that if they are playing in there rooms, we can still hear and get to them quickly. The house is entirely brick except when the garage was enclosed. At that time a fireplace was added and the back wall is siding. The kitchen/dining room, the original living room, the hallway and both of our kids rooms are all hard wood flooring. We are in the process of re-finishing the flooring and currently have the living room and one bedroom left to do. Both bathrooms still need to be updated, and when we do that, we are going to get rid of the linoleum and replace with tile. The second living room and the master bedroom have carpet in them. Neighborhood Description This is an older neighborhood that does not have any homeowner associations (yeah!). The road we live on has a good mix of young families to retirement age couples. The area is a little off the beaten path so we only get homeowner traffic which is nice. Most everyone is friendly and easy to talk to.
