You are absolutely under NO obligation to continue renting it, or to buy it. The only thing you are ever obligated to at any time, is the standard 12 month lease. You are literally controlling a gorgeous piece of Real Estate (potentially for up to 5 years) with only a security deposit and 1 month rent ! This is unheard of until now ! You also have the option of buying it at anytime during any lease period. AND There is no charge or fee for this option. It makes no difference to the rental amount. This is a standard 12 month lease, just as you would have when renting any other home. You can rent with the goal of moving out in 12 months, or you can rent with the goal of purchasing it a few years down the road. It does not affect the rent amount, or your application approval. In fact, about half of our customers never buy the home, and that's fine ! What is the catch ? Well, first, the process typically takes 30-45 days. If you need to move into something tomorrow, or next week, I'm sorry, it just can't be done. Second, there is no negotiation on the terms. The rent, credit, and security deposit are what they are. This is a nationwide company and they just can't be as flexible as an individual could be, who is renting out their own home. But overall, this is a great program for a lot of different reasons, and I'd like to tell you more .
