Maplewood is an excellent neighborhood very convenient to Boston and Shopping. Maplewood Square has two convenience stores, Citizens Bank, Hair and Nail Salons, Insurance Agencies, Drug Store, Barber Shop, Fish Market, Meat Market, Three Pizza take-outs, Optometrist, Dentist, Dunkin Donuts, Tailor/Cleaner, Ballroom Dancing Studio, Two Kids Dance Studios, Breakfast, Chinese and Italian Restaurants. There are two supermarkets within a stones throw of Maplewood Square, Stop and Shop and Super 88. Maplewood has a Catholic Church, Baptist Church, Methodist Church, Lutheran Church and a Jewish Temple. It is anchored by the Mystic Valley Regional Charter School one of the best academic schools in the state, check out the 10th grade MCAS scores if you need to verify. One can take a bus from Maplewood(numerous bus options) to the Orange line and be in Boston in 30 minutes or take the bus to route one and the Square one Mall and be there in fifteen minutes. The T station is 1.3 miles from the the Square and it is five miles from downtown Boston and one mile from Route One and Two Miles from Route 93. Revere Showcase Cinema is one mile away. This is a great place to live, if you work in Boston or North of the City you can't beat the commute. For somone who wants most everything within a short distance(usually walking) of where they live this has it all.
