PLEASE NOTE: This is a short-term (1 year only) rental, available 8/7/22 until 8/7/23 (dates are semi-negotiable, but lease will last no longer than one year). Beautiful home on a quiet cul-de-sac. A mile and a half from Charlottesville s downtown pedestrian mall, 2 and half miles from UVa (easily bikeable), and only half a mile from the elementary school. The house has an open floor plan on the main level, 3 bedrooms on the upper level, and a office space on the basement level. The back stone patio is lovely with a firepit and tranquil waterpond feature with koi fish and water lillies. Because this is a short-term lease, we are leaving the large furniture items in place (beds, couches, etc.) and putting our personal items into storage. This make it an ideal rental for a visiting scholar to UVA or a student/resident to the Hospitals. This is a short-term lease. We are a UVa family, taking one year of sabbatical leave. We will return next fall per our work contracts. We are renting this home furnished, leaving beds, couches, dressers and other large furniture items in place. All personal items will be moved into storage. You will be responsible for water, electric, gas, trash pickup costs as well as internet and/or tv cable fees if (you opt for that) for the duration of your 1-year lease.
