This is Stonecraft House - an old inn that has been used as an old folks home, a foster-family group home, a pottery, and a single family home. The stairs are old and somewhat steep and lead from the front hall (which needs work) to the second floor ( 2 full baths & 5 bedrooms /other use rooms) and then to the third floor (1 full bath & large family room plus 5 bedrooms). Stonecraft House is currently serving as a law office (first floor) and also has an extensive tool shop. The outbuildings are the old caretaker's home (3 rooms and non-functioning half-bath, in poor repair), a metal sided shed (currently housing our motorcycles) and a barn with pole for electricity installed. The driveway loops around the home and includes parking for 5-6 cars. the property extends over to the church next door ( and we've granted a free lease to them on a portion of it, which they use as a parking lot), and down to the stream that encircles the back. We have a wonderful tree house with a zip wire and an adjoining rope swing platform from which to soar out over the stream. There is also a small strip across the street on the river - used to have a pond but the dam was removed, but it's still a rustic view. Our long term plan was to lift the north side of the house and turn the three north downstairs rooms into a large kitchen / family room, but we're out of money, time, and enthusiasm because we have a recently disabled son we need to help out more and he lives down in Massachusetts, so it's time to move on to the next stage.
