It does have a few limiting factors though - please read this first before setting up your visit to make sure it's a good fit! -There is a 2nd room (could be a bedroom or an office) but accounting for the door swing, it is small. A twin bed will definitely fit, a full bed is a maybe. There is a raised area in the main room that has been used in the past as the sleeping area. -There is no oven and only a mini-fridge. The kitchen area has a 2-burner electric stove, countertop, cabinetry, and sink. -Tenant must view the apartment in person, and not send a friend or family member to view it on their behalf. Now for the good stuff... A well-lit stairway entrance down the side of the main house from the street leads to a woodsy, private front yard. The front door opens into the main living/kitchen area, which has tile floors, a raised storage area that can be used as a sleeping or couch/lounging area, plus custom stained glass window and track lighting. The kitchen is built along one side of the main living area, with upper and lower cabinets, a 2-burner stovetop, sink, and counter space. There is a large pantry for storage, and a wall of built-in bookcases tucked into the rear staircase area. Separate cozy, carpeted office with deep closet and built-in organizers off the main room. En suite bathroom with awesome, deep Japanese soaking tub, Grohe fixtures, and built-in storage. All utilities included except internet/cable. Great Berkeley Hills location, surrounded by private homes. Walking distance to Euclid Ave. AC Transit #65 bus stop for an easy commute to UC Berkeley or Transbay bus to SF.
