About the apartment: Enjoy this sun filled two bedroom/one bathroom rental. The two bedrooms, eat-in kitchen, and living room are all large and have many windows. There are hardwood floors throughout. There is also a dishwasher. The apartment is on the third floor of a three story building. There are only two apartments per floor. Laundry is coin operated in the basement. The building is quiet and the management company is responsive. About the location: The apartment is on a beautiful tree lined street with ample street parking. The building is less than a block away from the Harvard Divinity School and is located between Inman, Porter, and Harvard Squares. The neighborhood is quiet and full of beautiful homes and nature, though just a few blocks away are grocery stores, bodegas, cafes and restaurants (Star Market is a 3 minute walk away). The apartment is about a 15-18 minute walk from Harvard and Porter Sq T stops. There are no elevators, just stairs. No pets allowed sadly. No smoking inside. Rent: $3000 per month Move In: December 1, 2025 (if not possible, then we could potentially be flexible with an earlier move in date) Move Out: August 28, 2026 (unless you want to sign onto another lease for Sept 1, 2026, in which case, no need to move out Aug 28) Process: You would be subletting from the current renters, which is approved by the building management company. Current renters are two friends who have loved renting this apartment for the past four years. We are moving out before the end of our lease because we have bought a home elsewhere. The management company is in support of us subletting until the end of the lease and they have been easy to work with and responsive over the years. If you are interested, feel free to respond with some brief information about yourself. Then we could arrange a viewing, and if you are interested, then complete a rental application, and wait for landlord approval. Then you'd sign a lease ending August 28, 2026. No security deposit is required, just first and last month's rent. Renter(s) would be subletting from December 1,2025 - August 28, 2026. If interested, landlord's would allow you to sign another 12 month lease starting September 1, 2026. Of course, if renter(s) wanted to sign on for September 2026, then there is no need to move out August 28, 2026. There is no need for renter(s) to know whether they would like to sign on for September 2026, as that is not required to sublet Dec 1, 2025 - Aug 28, 2026. You would pay for gas, electric, and your own internet. Water is included.
