Come live on beautiful Vashon Island! Gorgeous waterfront home awaits you! Great for commuting to Seattle via the passenger ferry or car ferry. You can escape the hustle and bustle of the city yet you are just 15 minutes away by ferry. A place where time stands still and the town of Vashon is so charming with local shops, breweries, wineries, cideries, restaurants and much more. You can also take the Southworth ferry which is a great way to access the Kitsap Peninsula. At the other end of the island you have the Tahlequah Ferry to access the South end of Puget Sound, Pt.Defiance, Tacoma... This is a great area to explore by car or by foot. The layout of the house makes it feel quite spacious. The 3 bedrooms are a very nice size as well. This is a walk in cabin, you park on the road and walk down a boardwalk. There is plenty of parking on the road. We are located 5 houses down a boardwalk. Designated wheelbarrows at the bottom make it very easy to back your car down to the end the road to briefly unload your car. You can leave your things at he bottom while you move your car to a parking spot, then stroll along the boardwalk taking in the sea air and you instantly feel as though you are worlds away. The only sounds are the sounds of waves and birds. It is truly dreamy! This house has been in our family over 100 years and we recently did a remodel to the kitchen, bathroom and many other new updates. One bedroom has a queen bed, second bedroom has a full-size bed and the third bedroom has single bunk beds. The bathroom is on the same floor. We have a new, very efficient gas fireplace that heats the house quickly. Trash needs to be put out where the wheel barrows are kept on Wednesday evening for Thursday morning pick-up.
