The heart of the home, the kitchen, is a recent high-end renovation, which includes a Viking gas range and hood, convection oven, all with amazing views of the backyard. Radiant flooring in the kitchen makes for cozy winter mornings and lovely dinners at the granite peninsula. In addition to the kitchen, the first floor features a dining room, living room, half-bath, and amazing space for our grand piano. Do you fancy having a grand piano? The remaining two bedrooms have great views of the backyard. Speaking of the backyard, it features a mature cherry tree with a double pink blossom that blooms in spring shortly after the Yoshino cherry trees bloom at the Tidal Basin near the National Mall. The backyard saved us during the pandemic! We were able to use our flagstone patio for outside entertaining, and were able to fit in a 1,000 gallon pool for our daughter. You'll love entertaining in the backyard, and it has 2-3 areas for guest seating. The large basement is a dream for families, particularly if you need storage! During the pandemic, my wife used the basement as her online teaching studio, and my daughter had a separate space for her art studio. Perfect for an at-home gym, too.
