Our current tenants are moving out so our duplex apartment will be available January 15th. The house is in a great neighborhood which is conveniently located near Concord Bart, the Contra Costa Canal Trail, and shopping/downtown. It is a large home (1,800 sq ft) with a large backyard. The duplex is approximately 500 sq ft and is connected to the main house by a courtyard and one common wall (kitchen). The duplex was fully renovated in March 2020 including new insulation and flooring. There is a separate entrance for the duplex and backyard, so the unit is basically detached. I listed more info about us and who we are looking for. Note, photos will be added to this ad once the current tenants move out. About Us: Derek and I are a super laid-back couple. We both work 40+ hours a week Monday through Friday. We have two dogs that have full range of the shared backyard. Since we work all week, we tend to relax on the weekends, try to garden, or get projects done around the house. We try to travel as much as possible, so paid dog sitting is an option! Best way to describe us is that we are social home bodies. Ideal Tenant: We are looking for a single tenant but can accommodate a couple/family depending on the circumstances. The new tenant should be reliable, have a stable income, and should be able to communicate clearly directly (communication is particularly import for repairs, if needed). A long-term tenant is preferred but we can do a 6-month lease to start with month-to-month after that. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed due to size of the space and because our dogs are not friendly with other dogs (they're old hags but love people!). We're cannabis friendly but no unauthorized drugs or crazy loud parties. No smoking cigarettes or vapes indoors (cannabis is okay inside).
