When they bought the house - an antique farmhouse with an odd 1920's wing off the back - their kids were no longer babies and not yet adults. They wanted a place for them to come of age and to ground them as they set out into the world. 124 Goden Street has been just that. With its four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and a huge yard, it gave everyone their space and had the right balance of old and new. Much of the original farmhouse built in 1850 remains, to warmly welcome you as only an antique house can. They have transformed the wing with a beautiful modern kitchen and great room, added a dreamy spa bathroom off their master bedroom, and re-imagined the out-of-doors with pretty gardens, a large terrace for outdoor dining, and a fabulous saltwater pool for endless summer fun. Now that their kids are launched, it's time for a new chapter, and to pass along stewardship of the Robinson-Pomeroy Farmhouse (lovingly known as The Shire by family and friends) to a new owner who can call it home.
