In the early evening hours about an hour or so before dark we have every year a number of Raccoons with their young ones and watch them grow up every year ( I do truly hand feed them almost every night and the little ones are a classic to watch constantly cleaning themselves and learning what to do from the grunt sounds the Mamas make. They have NEVER caused or done any damage anywhere here or at the neighbors. When the ice is out we have Many Ducks nesting and raising their little ones in back every year. These include Many nesting and raising of the most beautiful of all colorful Ducks in the world, The Wood Duck which come back every year, as well as Mallards and more. The large number of Wood Ducks we have is due to no neighbor on the north side so we are connected directly to the many aches of Hard Woods and ponds. They are all Hard Woods including several GIGANTIC OAK TREES right next to rear detached garage that are well over 200 to 275 years old. Some that even have old barb wire grown around into the thick bark from close to 100 years ago as evaluated by known Tree Expert with more than 35 years experience in field. These Acres of Hard Woods and 5 more connecting ponds are Now owned by City of Maple Grove and dedicated as Park Area Never to be developed in any way.
