The Mt Vernon to Washington bike path runs immediately behind the complex. The unit is facing into the main inner court with a rear deck and stairs into a more private secondary court. The Braddock Metro station is close by (about 10 mins walking distance) with 2 DASH bus line stops on either end of the complex that are only several stops to the metro station. The Condo is an end unit that gets lots of light and has virtually everything you'll need including dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, dual oven range, large stainless refrigerator, washer and dryer, and an environmentally controlled private storage area. The master bedroom has 2 closets and is a very good size, while the 2nd bedroom is off the living room through french doors and is ideally suited for use as a den or study if not needed as a bedroom. The Harbor Terrace HOA fees are paid by the owner (not the renter) and include costs for up-keep and maintenance of the common areas, external parts of the buildings, grounds and landscaping, and parking areas. These costs include numerous services and utilities at no cost to the renter. They include: o Central City Sewage o City Water (Both cold and hot water) - note hot water for domestic use and use by the HVAC are provided by the Harbor Terrace complex as a whole. This negates the need and cost of each unit to have a separate hot water heater and the geo-thermal like heat-pumps used provide excellent heating and cooling year round w/o costly electric backup, This significantly reduces electric bills. Over the last 4 years, rarely have I had an electric bill over $100/month and normally in the range of $50 to $80/month. This however will vary based on number of people and usage of electricity. o Trash Pickup - 6 days a week (Monday through Saturday) o Fitness Center - Room o Well maintained Gazebo and table-picnic area o Bicycle Racks o 2 parking passes per unit - parking in any spaces in and around the complex - note - there are always spaces available, no matter what time it is. For access to this unit in the main inner court, any of six different access points can be used. This is a strict no smoking unit, and while I'd rather not allow pets, a single small well trained dog (house broken and non-barking) will be considered on a case basis.
