This apartment is TRULY IN THE BEST LOCATION OF THE LOGAN CIRCLE AREA between 14th street and the circle itself! The front door is on beautiful Rhode Island Avenue. The back door is on P Street across the street from the Studio Theatre and steps from Whole Foods, Etto, Le Diplomate, CVS, Vida gym, Flow yoga, lots of restaurants, and Dolcezza gelato! The apartment will be open September 1. We can start showing it immediately. The current renters take great care of the place, so it looks beautiful. We are also happy to let you talk to the current renters if you have any questions that we can't answer. Sparkling hardwood floors throughout the whole apartment. The pictures show white carpet in the two bedrooms, but we recently replaced the carpet with hardwood floors. Walk-in closet (with built-ins designed by California Closets) and lots of storage throughout, including a large attic. There's truly an amazing amount of storage space for a city apartment. Artisan designed and remodeled bathroom, with custom hand-made maple cabinets and large tile countertop. Large skylight in the foyer with 30 foot ceiling, and recently installed blinds on the skylight to keep the loft cool in the summer. Washer-dryer in the unit. Even though it's in the heart of the city, both bedrooms are in the middle of the block (off the street) and therefore quiet for sleeping. Easy 10 minute walk to every metro line: Red line at Dupont Circle; Green and Yellow lines at 13th and U; Blue and Orange lines at McPherson Square 14th and P is a great crossing point for two excellent bus lines. The 14th St buses (52 and 54) can take you down to Penn quarter or the mall, or they can take you up to Columbia Heights or Tacoma Park. The P Street bus (G2) can take you very quickly to Dupont Circle, or all the way to Georgetown in about 10 minutes. Also, the route of the Circulator bus stops at this corner. This bus comes every 10 minutes. It can take you south to McPherson Square, or it can take you north to U Street, Columbia Heights, and the Woodley Park Metro. If you're looking for a Logan Circle apartment, you probably already know about all the great restaurants within two blocks of this place. No pets. No smokers. We would prefer a 2-year lease ($3250 for first year; $3300 for second year), but we can be flexible. This apartment is ideal for two people. The loft is not suitable as a separate bedroom (so please do not ask if three people can share the apartment). The loft is, however, very useful as an extra room. It would make a great home office or music practice space. We really love this apartment, and we're looking for people who will take care of it. There is a move-in fee of $300, payable to the condo association. Parking is not included. If you have a car, you would have to be comfortable with street parking, or you can take advantage of one of the many spaces available for rent in the neighborhood. Fortunately, many of the streets in the area have one side that is for resident parking only now. So parking isn't difficult if you actually live in this neighborhood instead of visiting just to go to the restaurants. We just installed brand new central air-conditioning.
