Truly serene. - 4.8 Miles to Expo Center - 1.8 Miles to Convention Center/Downtown The studio can be accessed from the alley and features gravel parking for up to 3 vehicles. The lower part of the studio (from the alley) has automatic garage doors which lead to the owner's private artist studio. They are rarely there and always respectful of guests. There is plenty of foam insulation for privacy from any noise. Walking from the rear parking area to the front of the studio there is access via a door with an electronic keypad. The studio is filled with light from windows and a large glass garage door, which can be opened on nice days. When opened, the outdoor space comes inside and you feel grounded and connected with nature. Makeshift draperies help cover the door at night and provide privacy. Please note that a small number of guests have felt the need for additional privacy in this space. Please be cautious about renting if you require complete privacy. The studio space is completely open, with the exception of the bathroom. The living room space is very cozy and features comfortable seating for 4 on a (sleeper) sofa that can convert into a bed for a second sleeping space and a chair. We provide bed linens and pillows for the sleeper sofa. The dining area is in the front left corner of the studio and has interesting architectural elements with windows and artwork. A built-in banquette with conformable pillows provides seating for up to 4 people. A full bathroom divides the dining space from the kitchenette and is decorated with modern bathroom fixtures and tile. Glass cut-outs at the ceiling allow natural light into this space. The Kitchenette is on the other side of the bathroom and has everything you need to prepare a small meal, minus a stove. The bedroom area features a comfortable queen murphy bed. We keep the bed in the down position for your convenience. The TV is attached to the wall to the left of the bed. It can be seen from the living room space but is best viewed from the bed. The TV features the Spectrum App for streaming live TV. HVAC services are provided by a single Mitsubishi split unit, which is very efficient and easy to operate. In times of extream heat, we recommend that you keep the HVAC setting at 70 degrees and all window coverings drawn to help condition the space. The garage door can also be opened and 2 ceiling fans help circulate air. For extremely cold days we recommend using portable heating sources provided.
