This is a great, friendly, middle-class mixed neighborhood. It's a great melting pot of White, Black, Hispanic, Indian and Asian, where no race clearly dominates (though White and Hispanic are probably most prominent.) If you're tired of your single-race area, and like non-threatening variety, we have the best of it! This is also primarily a subdivision of younger or starter families -- most people having younger to middle grade school kids. Each year the homeowners association puts on a Garage Sale and free picnic. They keep the area clean and safe. For all that diversity, it's a rather quiet neighborhood. People often wave to each other as they drive to and from work, or walk their dogs (very safe). Many families ride bikes in the subdivision. All the streets are clean, safe, and clearly lit at night. If you live on the northern part (near Sullivan & Randall rd) you can watch Aurora's amazing July 4th firework show from your backyard! The surrounding area is starting to build up with stores and such -- we have a huge new shopping area about 2 miles away, with a Target, JC Pennys, Best Buy and about 10 other stores. You are 2 miles from the Rt 31 entry to Rt 88 so it takes 3 minutes to get on the highway -- very nice. We are close to a Starbucks, Chili's, HomeDepot, Lowes, Walmart, Blockbuster, Grocery Stores etc. But the traffic is not bad. Downsides: As many people who live here are younger, it can be a little fast on the turn around -- people will live here for two years, get a new job and move away. But certainly not everyone, one of our neighbors has been here over 10 years. There can be a lot of cars parked on the street at times. That's about it.
