Part of an area of homes historically known as "Silk Stocking Row," the house features ornate federal era trim throughout and was a showplace in its time. Likely built by a local Doctor, Dr. Phillips c1830, the house retains most of its original appointments. Though later additions are intact, most of the interior has been stripped to the studs in preparation for a renovation. A very fine house in its day, with loads of space, prepped for a renovation to return the home to its former prominence in the community once more.
