I'd like to start by differentiating our unit from the 20 or so other units located on the old naval base that are listed for a similar rate around $2600 per month.
Theirs are 2 BRs, 2 baths, and 900-1000 sq ft......Ours is 2/3 BRs, 2.5 baths, and 1400sq ft. That's almost 50% bigger!
Their living space is confined to 1 level, with detached garage, and no deck or outdoor green space....Ours is spacious three level living, with attached garage and storage above, and a private deck with private backyard lawn and garden space.
Theirs is a 4 story apartment building with elevators required to enter unit, surrounded by multiple other units, including above and below, and located in a parking lot...... Ours is a second from end, ground level condo/townhouse, with only 1 neighbor on each side, located on a quiet cul-de-sac. Basically 80% more private!
Of course there are other pros and cons for each locations, so it's ultimately a matter of personal preference.
Condo is a 3 story dwelling 2/3 bedrooms. 2 br's are on the second floor and 1 in the finished basement if desired. Has full bath in bsmt, 1/2 bath on 1st floor, and full on 2nd. Washer and dryer located on second floor. 1 car garage with storage above, sliding glass doors out to a full-size private deck, as well as garden area. Two storage rooms/closets with abundant shelving located in basement for lots of storage. Beds in pics are for context only and are not included.
No utilities are included and are to be paid by the tenant. Heat is 2 economical monitor heaters run on kerosene, with an estimated cost of $1200 per year.
