interesting architectural angles lots of attic and basement storage single-level condo Neighborhood Description West Medford is a beautiful neighborhood - vastly better than the east side of I-93 part of Medford. • West Medford is a really nice neighborhood which is surrounded by Winchester just blocks to the north, Arlington just blocks to the West and Somerville just blocks to the South • on-street parking for cars, no permit required (which means your car doesn’t have to be registered and insured in MA which is the MOST expensive state!), parking right in front of the house is never a problem and is very safe • local buses that go directly to Davis Sq.(94), Sullivan Sq., Haymarket, Harvard Sq. • one block from a small park and only a few blocks from the Middlesex Fells Reservation (for biking, hiking, walking etc), also only a few blocks from tennis courts, soccer fields, basketball court, baseball field • only 2-3 blocks from West Medford Center which has a great breakfast diner, take-out places (subs, Chinese, Italian, seafood), Dunkin Donuts, liquor store, Brooks Pharmacy, Post Office, dry cleaner, bank, convenience store, gas station, barber shop, 5 blocks to Whole Foods and not too far from a Shaws or Stop N Shop • only 4 blocks from the West Medford Commuter Rail stop (first stop on the Lowell line) which takes you into downtown Boston/North Station/Fleet Center in 1 stop (only 10 min train ride). You can’t hear the train from the apartment. A monthly T/subway pass also covers the commuter rail fare to this stop so you don’t have to pay for it if you have a pass. Taking a cab home from downtown only costs $15-20 • only 10 minute drive to the airport • only blocks from Route 60, 16, 38 and I-93 (8 minute drive to downtown Boston) • nice residential neighborhood with nice houses and neighbors • close to Tufts campus – only 20 min walk, 5 min bike ride or 2 min drive, or you can take the 94 bus which only takes 7-8 mins
