Some of our favorite things about the apartment include the huge windows, large modern kitchen, the rooftop with pool and grills and a view of the capitol, and the building's amazing staff. The apartment is really big and bright with tons of storage. The rooftop provides amazing outdoor space that we have used just about every day in the warmer months. The reception staff are all very friendly helpful and the maintenance staff, on the rare occasions that we need it, respond to issues right away. There is a parking garage, but the address is also eligible for on-street parking permits, which is what we use since it's only $30 per year. We're usually able to find parking within a block or two from the building. The building is also very pet friendly. The location is amazing! The building is a five minute walk to Navy Yard Metro Station. You're walking distance to all the great restaurants that Navy Yard and the Wharf have to offer. And there are exciting events happening at both Navy Yard and the Wharf just about every weekend. The closest grocery store is Harris Teeter, but there's also a Whole Foods and Safeway within walking distance.
