The space The Jaybird Getaway is a treehouse style cabin that sits up on one of the hills of the mountain surrounded by forest pines. The property is a beautiful secluded escape a charming rustic mountain cabin (3 bed + 2 bath) with modern Scandinavian & farmhouse style design elements and furnishings. Relax in simple and modern comforts with a cozy and stylish feel. The newly renovated 1440 square foot cabin was built with a unique reverse floor plan that's been recently updated to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay. Head upstairs to light up the wood burning Benjamin Franklin Stove in our lounge style living room, cook up your favorite meal on our outdoor patio bbq grill or in the newly renovated kitchen, and take in the view from our tree top wooden deck patio. Enjoy the quiet surroundings by spotting the Steller's Jay birds perched in the nearby trees, listen to the wind whistle through the pines while breathing in the crisp fresh alpine air. Want to escape and hit the trails? We are situated next to beautiful and scenic hiking trails like the Woodland Falls Trail (0.6 mile trail), the Enchanted Forest Trail (1.5 mile trail), or for the adventurous, there is the Three Peaks from Nordic Station (10.3 mile trail). The property is a two minute drive from the PMC Village Center, which includes the local general store, boutique shops, bakery and restaurants. Roads can be icy. There is parking on the long driveway for 2 cars maximum. No street parking or Patrol will tow your car :( This is a short-term rental property. Other things to note Booking implies agreement to House Rules. No gatherings/parties allowed, only booked guests can be there at any time (unless discussed/approved and additional fees paid in advance). Additional security deposit required for every booking per House Rules. Unpaid deposit means no entry. No pets allowed due to one of us having extreme allergies :( By booking, guest agrees to pay an additional security deposit prior to check in. Booking guest acknowledges that access to property will be denied until deposit is paid in full or reservation is forfeited without refund. Deposit is documented and collected via Airbnb Resolution Center and is potentially fully refundable if all rules are honored. Deposit Refund is dependent upon ALL guests in the group honoring all House Rules, and is initiated within 10 days of check out. Our hope is to provide a full deposit refund because the stay went smoothly - which has generally been our experience :) Our cabin is part of the Pine Mountain Club HOA. We have amazing amenities, but we all must follow the Association rules, including our guests. Please have fun responsibly in the mountains! For any fine incurred, it will be taken out of your security deposit.
