Leasing 1BR/1Ba in a 4BR/3Ba. I signed a lease for a unit with three other guys, but it turns out that I will be transferring to a different university. I am looking for someone to take over my lease. The unit is 4 bedrooms (3 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and 3 bathrooms (two upstairs and one downstairs). You would have your own room and I was supposed to move into a room with my own bathroom so you would get that or if you would rather share a bathroom, I'm sure the guys would be willing to oblige. The unit comes with a refrigerator, dish washer, and a washer/dryer as well as a small deck, but is otherwise unfurnished, although I know the three other people living there already have some furniture set aside to bring. All three are nice guys, none of them planned on hosting any parties and none of them stay out late on week nights. None of them drink excessively and to my knowledge none use drugs. None of them are smokers either. The rent is $400 a month per person, $1600 in total (which is pretty cheap in relation to other living options in the area). There is a 2 car garage as well as two spots in the driveway (4 spots in total for the unit). One of the guys is bringing a car, one mostly like is not, and one is not sure at this point, so it's fairly likely that you will get a parking spot in the garage, but I'm sure the guys would be willing to work something out and share the spots. If you don't own a vehicle, busses run to and from campus throughout the day as well as around Columbia and it is only a 5 minute drive from campus.
