Public Transportation: Several metro bus lines serve this area, providing access to various parts of Los Angeles and surrounding cities. Stops are just a short walk away. Vermont Ave & 253rd St approximately a 3-minute walk Pacific Coast Hwy & Vermont Ave approximately a 5-minute walk Normandie Ave & 255th St approximately a 9-minute walk Apartment: Semi-Private Room (you and your roommate can lock the door - keypad) + En-suite Bathroom You will SHARE the room with a roommate / another guest. Your room has a queen bed (memory foam), a closet, a mini fridge, a smart TV (streaming subscriptions required), and a hairdryer. The kitchen, living room, and front yard are shared. Kitchen: stove, oven, microwave, toaster, hot water kettle, coffee machine. Laundry, requires payment and is coin-operated. PROPERTY GUIDELINES Guest agrees to obey the following. Violation may lead to a penalty and removal from the property. -- SECURITY -- A. Make sure all doors and gates are closed when leaving or entering the property. B. Do not let anyone in. Do not share the door code with anyone, ever! This includes your food delivery. C. Do not leave appliances unattended while in use, ex: stove, iron, etc. -- MAINTENANCE -- E. Report any damage, leak, or malfunction to your on-site host immediately. F. Do not put oil, bones, or leftovers in the kitchen's garbage disposal. It will cause a clog. Please use the trash can instead. G. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. It will cause a clog. -- HOUSE RULES -- H. Zero tolerance -No parties, no intoxicated behavior, no illegal drugs, no aggressive behavior. You will be asked to leave our property immediately! I. No smoking marijuana, and no smoking cigarettes anywhere inside the property. Smoking cigarettes is permitted in designated areas only. J. Quiet hours are from 8pm to 9am. K. No pet/visitor in the room. No more than 1 visitor. Your visitor is your responsibility. Your visitor must follow the house rules. You must be present when your visitor is at our property. No visitors during quiet hours unless previously approved. L. No illegal movie/music down/upload with our internet. We use Spectrum/Time Warner and they track the user and will issue you a fine. M. Maintain harmony with other Guests in the house. Put on a headset when listening to music or watching movie. N. Keep all your belongings inside your closet or at designated areas. Do not borrow or consume other Guests' items without their prior authorization. O. Clean up after yourselves immediately, especially if you are using shared facilities (bathroom, kitchen, and other common area). P. Continuous complaints from other guests will incur a $200 penalty per occurrence. GENERAL HOUSE ETIQUETTES Guests agree to be considerate in order to create a good and enjoyable experience for everyone. -- CONSIDERATION -- A. Close doors gently, especially during quiet hours. B. Put your clothes away immediately after doing laundry; do not leave them out. C. Treat all property, furniture, and belongings with care. return borrowed items to their proper place. D. Use shared appliances and utilities (like water, electricity, and heating) responsibly. E. Refrain from strong or pungent cooking smells late at night to avoid disturbing others. F. Show a good example to other people by following the Property Guidelines. -- CLEANLINESS -- G. Remove your shoes upon entering the house. H. Regularly clean your personal living areas. I. Be mindful of shared spaces; keep them tidy and free of personal belongings. J. Clean up after yourself thoroughly. Dispose of trash and recyclables properly. Ensure dishes are washed and put away after use; do not leave them in the sink. -- COMMUNICATION -- K. Communicate courteously. Respect others' privacy and personal space. L. Notify others in advance if you need to use shared spaces for extended periods of time. M. Provide feedback constructively and be open to receiving it. BATHROOM ETIQUETTES Guest agrees to be considerate in order to create a good and enjoyable experience for everyone. A. Be mindful of bathroom usage, especially during rush hour. B. Conserve water, and turn off the faucet when not in use. C. Report any leaks to the onsite host immediately. D. Wipe off the bathroom sink for the following user. E. Pick up your hair and trash.
