    What's special

Welcome to our awesome 2 bed 1 bath home. I, the owner, used to live here and just moved out. It has a lot of little upgrades like an Instagrammable kitchen with a farm house sink. I built the Butcher Block countertops myself and they turned out really nice. The stove, fridge, and microwave come with the unit. We had to buy new ones at our new house. If you are the cook in the house you should know the stove is a double oven (convection on the top one), has a griddle in the middle and a super hot burner on the right. It has a timer for both the top and bottom ovens and a bunch of electronic settings you can fiddle with. My wife had a great idea for the living room wall which she painted light green at the top flowing to a darker green towards the bottom. The living room also has a huge window that lets in a lot of light. We ordered a custom blind for it which works perfectly. Another bonus is we put canned lights in so the living room always has as much light as you need. You won't need to buy a single lamp or worry about ugly yellow lighting. Both of the bedrooms have new white blinds. They are solid and sturdy. I hate those cheap aluminum ones that always look like they lost in a fight. Each bedroom also comes with a closet and storage above it. The sliding doors are made from real wood and the doors never come off the tracks. Next to the bathroom there is room for a stackable laundry set. Then some storage built right next to it. The bathroom itself recently got an upgrade. We threw out the old vanity and put in a new light, mirror, and faucet with storage under it. Honestly it is the best Home Depot has to offer. The whole house has been repainted, touched up etc. You know the drill. The part we really like is that it is behind 15000 Osage ave. We rent out the front house and lived in the back off the street and it is nice and quiet. The only downside is sometimes Amazon forgets where we live. It shares a driveway with the front house and has 2 dedicated parking spots. For those of you who need a garage where you can lock up your tools this is for you. There are 4 industrial grade 3 point locking outdoor cabinets. The shelves can hold a bunch of weight and dust can barley get inside. You won't be surprised by any spiders or critters when you go to get something from inside. For pet lovers, yes we take pets AND there is a back area where they can run around. The front patio has a gate that closes. There is also a gated dog run that goes behind the house around to the carport. So you can let them have the patio and the run or just one of them. The water heater, who doesn't love hot water? Well this one is only 2 years old and it is 40 gallons. Should give you enough water to shower the whole family and then some. Now for the most important part, the internet. Spectrum has service already set up for the unit. It comes into the house at the living room next to the big window. Just in case you wanted to put it in the back bedroom I ran an ethernet cable through the attic to the back bedroom so you can sleep next to the router if you wanted to. I know it has been raining a lot lately. You need to know we already had a roofer come by and touch up the roof. After that they ran water on the roof with a hose for 20 minutes straight and I am happy to say we have not had any leaks this year. A special note about our security door. It was a family gift and they went all out. It locks at 3 points and has a metal screen which does let in the breeze. Most importantly it looks great and it has a really smooth swing until it clicks closed. It's strangely satisfying. Note that I did not turn on any lights when I took these photos. You are seeing just the natural light that comes into the house. Owner pay trash, tenant pays everything else. For those of you with pets there will be an additional security deposit charge. Please note that gardening is the tenants responsibility. Sometimes the weeds grow like wildfire and you'll need to cut them down about once every 2 months. Our favorite tenant has great credit and has 3+ months of rent in the bank. We will call to confirm employment/income sources.
