The neighbors are fantastic they do a block party in the summer and a progressive dinner in the winter (where different houses host dinner courses, and around 75 people go house-to-house on the block). I honestly think this is the best block in the neighborhood, and I lived in this house for 10 years. - Separate entrance. - Lovely back patio for bbq'ing or lounging. It is shared with the upstairs house. - Reliable high-speed wifi (Fios). - Washer/dryer in the basement and shared with the renters upstairs. - Ceiling is insulated and sound-proofed. You can still hear the upstairs a little bit, but it's much better than the majority of basements. We recently put several thousand dollars into the soundproofing.
