7 MONTH LEASE: Before scheduling a viewing of the house we require additional information requested below. This furnished house is available for 7 month lease starting October 1, 2025 to April 31, 2026. We are not considering shorter or longer sublets at this time. We sublet the house while we are in Arizona during the winter. GREAT LOCATION in the Sanders Beach area next to downtown Coeur d'Alene. Only one block to the bike path, only three blocks to Sanders Beach, 6 blocks to Tubbs Hill, 10 blocks to downtown, and maybe a five minute bike ride to North Idaho College. It's in a neighborhood surrounded by trees - you'll feel like you're in a forest in the middle of town. Large property with a gorgeous backyard with a large covered sitting area made from big timbers. The house has 2 bedrooms, office, 1 1/2 baths with a large soaking tub, washer/dryer, hardwood floors throughout, Viking gas stove, dishwasher, central heating with natural gas, two covered parking spaces, office, and wrap around deck. We are renting the entire upstairs plus the basement laundry room. We use half the basement for storage of our personal items and tools while the other half of the basement is a completely separate in-law apartment with their own separate driveway, carport, laundry and entrance from a different street (we live on a corner) - so you will hardly see your neighbor. But since you will be living directly above them, this arrangement would not work for households that are loud, have lots of parties, listen to tv or music loud, have barking dogs, rowdy kids, or stomp around with wooden clogs...you get the picture. Also, if you're extra sensitive to sound, this arrangement would not be right for you as you may hear your neighbors below you like most apartment situations. But if both neighbors, upstairs and downstairs, are respectful of each other we have found there is no problem. This will be the 12th winter we have rented the house and everyone has been very happy with the experience. If you have mobility issues you'll be happy to know there are NO STAIRS from the carport throughout the main floor of the house. The only stairs are those down to the basement laundry. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the house (but there are plenty of covered areas outside). For $1995 a month you get a furnished house with a large couch, recliner, coffee table, dining room table and chairs, lamps, 2 queen beds, 2 dressers, night stands, 2 flatscreen TV's, furnished kitchen with fridge, microwave, dishwasher, gas stove, and basic dinnerware and cooking utensils, and more. All you need to bring is your pillows, linens, towels, toiletries and your suitcase. An average winter month's utilities might look something like this: $150 electric/heating + $50 water/sewer/trash + $20 internet = Total $220. (There is no cable TV currently hooked up.) There is a fully refundable security deposit of $3000. Total move-in cost $4995. Pet friendly house with a large doggie door. We will consider a quiet, well behaved pet with additional $500 deposit and $40 a month pet rent per pet. Cats will require an additional cleaning fee of $150 to wipe down walls and all surfaces as the dander is difficult to remove and we have friends with allergies. When we move out we will have the house professionally cleaned and when you move out we require you use the same professional cleaner which cost approximately $125 if the house is not excessively dirty. Since this is our personal residence we are more strict with tenant credit qualifications. You must have a very good credit score and excellent references or don't bother applying. After you have filled out the Zillow application we still need to know who is in your household and their ages and pet, if any.
