Locust Point, aka The LP, is a tight-knit community. Neighbours know each other and frequently sit out on their stoops chatting, or throw block parties in the alleys behind the houses. It seems every block has someone who has designated him/herself as a sort of guardian of the block, making sure leaves are swept and sidewalks are clear.
