About the Apartment: The main selling point is the unbeatable location. There's a Safeway, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods all within a 5-10 minute walk, not to mention the fantastic restaurants and bars that 14th Street has to offer. Public transportation couldn't be easier to access. The S1, S2, S4 bus lines pick up literally 500 feet from the front door and the DuPont and U Street metro stations are all less than a mile away equivalent to about a 10 minute walk. The unit has central AC (electric) and heat (gas). The main living area includes a combo living room and kitchen and comes with a giant flat screen TV mounted above the fireplace. The shared bathroom has a deep jacuzzi jet tub that's perfect after that long day at work. AND, there's a full size washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and a brand new stove that the landlord recently replaced - 5 burners and great for cookers and bakers. Cable and internet including On Demand and HBO. DVR included. You pay for electric and gas, which usually never amounts to more than $100 per person (usually less). There is an awesome outdoor space that currently fits a full size patio set with table and chairs. Also available is use of a gas grill.
