Proximity to Alki also provides great local access for jogging, skating, biking, skateboarding, scuba diving and kayaking. The neighborhood is safe with a nice mix of population. For people with elders in the family, numerous nursing homes are located in the area. There are two day care centers located in less than 1/2 mile radius for families with young children
