The apartment is 640 square feet with a comfortable living/dining space, a full sized kitchen with tons of cabinet space and counter space, a large closet in the bed room, and a large bath. Best of all: full sized washer and drier IN UNIT! No more hauling laundry down the hall or to the laundry mat and having it ruined by someone's bleach! Several parking options are available. Rent covers an off-street parking space. Garage and additional parking are available as well. For guests, there is plentiful street parking and no obnoxious zoning. The complex is close to 395 and a quick commute into DC. It takes about 10 minutes without traffic and about 20 with normal commuting traffic. If you're commuting by train, the complex offers a free shuttle to the Pentagon City metro which runs about every 10 minutes. In addition, the complex has a concierge desk, responsive maintenance, a 24-hour gym, a business center and a pool in the summer. Another feature I have found to be amazingly helpful are the storage units on the property which rent for a fraction of what a commercial storage unit does. They are a good size, indoor and fully temperature controlled. Within walking distance is a Giant grocery store, a Gold's gym, Starbucks, restaurants and more. Why sublet? Maybe you're looking for something short term, a stopover while you buy a house, or you're looking for something long term and you want to try the apartment complex before you commit to a full year lease. Subletting is perfect because you will have access to a short term lease without having to pay higher rents the leasing office would charge for the short term lease (I believe a three month lease on this apartment model will cost around $1800 a month). At the end of the lease, you have the option to move out or extend for anywhere between a month to two years. I have lived in two different units in the apartment complex for a year and a half and have no complaints. The maintenance is amazing (they change light bulbs and can help with everything up from there!). I have never found the neighbors to be noisy and love the convenience of the location.
