Our neighbors are great. The decision to move was not an easy one. Almost every family has kids, all ages, so we have babysitters right next door, We live at the end of a dead end street so there is no traffic, and 2 houses down is a culdesac, so the kids have plenty of room to ride bikes. The elementary school is across from the house, but without the traffic, so it's nice to be able to send your kids off and not have to worry. We have cook outs and get togethers with neighbors atleast once a month if not more often. You won't be dissapointed with the neighborhood. It's one of the best in Hollister. Hollister is also a great place to raise your kids, it's not too large, has a great park and rec program, but is also not too small. Target is less than a mile down the road, as well as 2 grocery stores, gas, and we have several great places to eat here. Historic San Juan Bautista is 12 miles away, San Jose is an hour away (Many people commute from Hollister), Monterey is 45 minutes away, Napa Valley 2.5 hours, San Francisco 2 hours, Reno/Tahoe 4 hours. It's just a great place to live.
