It's a wonderful, peaceful, cozy space with warm carpet throughout. Most people say "wow" when they first see it. It features a nice kitchenette in a separate room with an oven/stove, sink, fridge, granite countertops. There are skylights throughout the space, some with panoramic views of the East Bay, San Francisco and the Golden Gate. It's the perfect space to unwind or play some acoustic guitar and get creative. HOUSE: The Loft is in a renovated attic (3rd floor) of a private house with 3 (shared) rooms on the 2nd floor. The loft has total privacy and the only thing that is shared is the entrance, backyard and washer/dryer. It's up to you how private you want to be. There is the option to mingle with the other housemates, but since the loft is separate, you might enjoy the peaceful privacy it offers. There is a wonderful, serene backyard with a waterfall with well-kept landscaping. If you enjoy gardening, you are welcome to do so. There is a washer/dryer on the second floor. On the first floor there is a separate 2 bdrm in-law unit which shares the backyard and garage storage. Ample parking can always be found outside. There is free storage in the garage on the first floor for bicycles and things. LOCATION: We're located in a safe area in the El Cerrito Hills, on a quiet Cul-de-sac where neighbors are friends. But not too far from walking distance to Del Norte BART, AC Transit or casual carpool, downtown San Francisco is a breeze. There is a wonderful local store down the street that excels in the produce and convenience department. Safeway is next to Del Norte.
