We are two roommates (and a 12-year-old Husky) seeking a third for our beautiful Westside home. This house is an original of Bend and brings all the charm with updated amenities, including a new dishwasher, W/D, and gas fireplace. There are 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms throughout the home; your space includes a midsize bedroom and shared bath. We also have a side yard with garden beds, a two-car garage to store your gear, and off-street parking. We are within walking distance of all the best spots on the Westside. $900 a month plus utilities for a one-year lease. ** As a caveat, we are looking for someone who would be willing to spend the month of July in the smaller bedroom for $650 and then transition into the midsize room in August for $900, due to our current roommates' move-out dates. About us: We are Alex (she/her, 33 y/o) and Chris (he/him, 33 y/o). After meeting as wilderness therapy field instructors, we became roommates around 2022. Alex is a mental health counselor and husky owner. She likes to spend her time doing all the outdoor stuff, cooking, and being with her community. Chris alternates working for BPRD, pet sitting, and child care (in the client's home, not ours). He is passionate about slacklining, health, communication, musical composition, philosophy, tea, and nature. Our house vibes are laid back and warm. We mostly do our own thing, but sometimes come together for a movie, dinner, or walk. Overall, we value conscientiousness, respect, healthy communication, connection, fun, and care. What we are looking for: A woman and/or queer person in their late 20s to mid-30s who will fit well into our home. Someone who shares similar values and lifestyle to ours.
