The access to the cottage is through the garden from the driveway. The gate at the top of the driveway has a locked keypad. There is typically plenty of parking availability. The property is four blocks from the Ashby BART station and six blocks from Berkeley Bowl. Prefer to rent to grad students, visiting professionals, people established in their careers, or to people in life transitions. The cottage is big enough for one person, but not for two. $2500 includes wifi, water/sewer and trash. The cottage has its own PGE meter so that will be extra. The deposit is $2500. The big back yard has a great deck and hot tub, and lots of private spaces for communing with nature. There is outdoor seating and a couple of chaise lounges just for you. We have a veggie bed to share and there's lots of places to have potted plants in your own patio. There is a full basement for storing bicycles and other small belongings. We have one long-haired cat who will interact with you as much as you want (she's really bonded to me, but is super friendly). No more pets, please!
