Welcome to the "Hideaway!" A non-smoking/vaping, child and animal free home. Charming Fully Furnished 900 square foot retreat is located on the lower level of the home. There is also a short term rental space next door. Each space is fully separate with its own entrance. Located within walking distance to old town Auburn and a few blocks from the most beautiful hiking trails in the American River Canyon. The Hideaway offers high-speed internet, free utilities along with your own washer/dryer. There is a designated office room to catch up on work and a beautiful outdoor area with gardens, hanging lights, fire pit, and fountain! Enjoy a meal outside on your own table and chairs. The kitchen is tastefully decorated with granite countertops, dishwasher, convection/microwave, and induction cooktop. The kitchen is fully functional with a 10.1 cubic feet Magic Chef Refrigerator, along with a blender, rice cooker, toaster, coffee maker, and tea kettle. The large room has a comfortable queen bed that awaits you for rest and restoration as well as plenty of space to relax on the L-shaped sofa while reading a book or watching TV. You will have your own entrance and one parking space. Other things to note The Hideaway is a private oasis but it is in a home and you may hear footsteps from upstairs. Quiet hours are 10:00 pm-7 am out of respect to the other guests. The yard is beautifully landscaped with rock terraces with outdoor sitting areas surrounded by mature pines, oaks, and charming outdoor lighting. It is a common area for guests with your own table and chairs adjacent to the Hideaway. The home is in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Auburn next to the canyon and is within walking distance to downtown where you can enjoy restaurants and the local Farmer's market. Auburn is a quaint old gold mining town that is a thriving community and is the gateway to the American River outdoor experience. It is a lovely place with many restaurants, shops, theaters, art and crafts, weekly events, walking, hiking, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, and rafting. It is also known as the Endurance Capital of the World. This space is one of several on the property that are actively rented year round through airbnb. Therefore the following are not allowed: NO smoking, vaping, drugs, heavy drinking, parties, overnight guests, children or pets. Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. Utilities are free! The space is fully furnished with no opportunity to add or exchange your furniture. The space is set up for one person only and one car.
