My husband and I actually met through cooking at a small fly-fishing lodge a friend owned. He and I swapped cooking for the lodge on alternate weekends in exchange for staying there and fishing. After a year of leaving notes for each other, we met in person and have now been together for 25 years. We have been landlords for over 30 years. Our first rentals in our new house in Pensacola have been to two wonderful couples that each had a young daughter. They have been great relationships and worked out well because we have such a good team to support our renters.
