Tired of living above/below a noisy neighbor or dealing with management companies? Hi we're Mike and Kevin and we're looking to rent out the unfurnished 1bed/1bath front unit of a duplex. We're both working professionals. Mike is an MIT alum and a biking and roller coaster fanatic. Kevin is from the bay area, a UC Berkeley alum, and he loves houseplants and some cross stitching. This north-facing unit faces the front yard and has a gas fireplace and a washer/dryer. We also have our barbecue grill in the back if you'd like to use it on occasion. The bedroom has one large closet and there's another adjacent large closet and two additional smaller closets. You can also use the shed in the yard for outdoor storage. We have typical job schedules so we'd like someone who also appreciates peace and quiet late on a weeknight. Kitchen has a stove, fridge, dishwasher. There's a free large parking spot in front and a lawn and back patio for entertaining and relaxing. It's a quick bike ride to UC Berkeley or a 15 minute walk to Ashby BART. Berkeley Bowl is a 10 minute walk away. We just moved in so we're not sure what the house is like during the summer but if it gets too hot, we can look into installing a 5000 BTU AC window unit in your bedroom.
