Bespoke backyard cottage with everything you need including full kitchen (with disposal and instant hot water dispenser!), W/D, dedicated parking space and heated floors. WIndow A/C unit available for the hot months (you can put it in the window or I can). All utilities and internet included in rent! It's not huge, just 350 sq ft, but has been perfect for people without a ton of stuff. It's a very calm and chill double lot with two full sized houses and the cottage. Everybody looks out for each other and respects each other's peace and quiet so the ideal tenant would not be into partying or scream-talking (we all know somebody like that). Yes cat, no dogs! Not even a little one. There's a barbecue for everybody to use too and plenty of opportunity for gardening in the yard, too, if you're into that. The neighbors are all super nice and amazing and it's a quite idyllic little spot. I-5 is a few blocks away, as is Georgetown and multiple bus lines. There is the Cafe Flora Bakehouse literally a block away and that's great for coffee, pastries, breakfast sandwiches and savory hand pies. MacPherson's produce is amazing and a mile away. You can get a small couch in there (54" wide to be precise) and a queen bed upstairs. Lots of storage options in the upper row of cabinets and under the stairs (where the AC unit is currently sitting). Basically it will require a little forethought and planning to make your life fit in here, but when it fits you're good to go! There is no true closet, but there's a small wardrobe and opportunity to hang a bar from the ceiling for additional clothing on hangers. Bed frames with drawers are also a good idea for clothing storage! I am an attentive and responsive landlord and live in the house next to the cottage. If there's a problem I will fix it immediately and if I'm not around I will get somebody to fix it. - water, garbage, gas, internet all included in rent price - absolutely no dogs - no smoking of any kind inside the unit - 1 year lease with $500 security deposit required - tenant is responsible for upkeep of unit and parking area (it's not much hassle) - unit is registered with Seattle Rental Registration & Inspection Ordinance
