This sweet tiny cottage is located on five acres with woods and a small stream. It is quiet and peaceful and only 15 minutes from Bellingham. Sit back and enjoy the old cedars, the sound of the creek, sit by a cozy fire, or hike on beautiful trails only minutes away. It has two storeys ~ the downstairs is the living area with a wood stove. There is a small fridge tucked away, as well a kitchenette area with a microwave, hot plate, toaster, air fryer/baking appliance. There is a small covered outdoor kitchenette with a small table, counter, and sink. The covered area also has the composting toilet and outdoor shower. This is a rustic setting, so please be aware of that as you consider. The cottage is furnished. This place is very cozy ~ surrounded by trees. From the cottage you can hear birds, frogs, the small stream trickling through the land. There are folks living in the main house on the land as well. One lane over is the entrance to Blanchard block, with the lower trails only five minutes away. Fairhaven/Bellingham is 15 minutes north and Bow-Edison about 10 minutes south. Great lake swimming in Lake Samish is only 10 minutes away. This is a magical little place! Pets are welcome. The cottage has a fenced-in yard perfect pets. Other things to note This is a quiet setting but close to so much! I will require renter's background check and a renter's application. $50 utility flat rate fee. Tenant is responsible for removing own trash.
