Russell Island is a private island. Only property owners and their guests are allowed. There are also no cars on the island. This community is like going back in time to the good ol days. Everyone and smiles and waves as you walk, bike or golf cart passed each other. Islanders are helpful people that will help you load your items on the ferry without you even asking to coming over and giving a helping hand on a project. It is a safe, tranquil and fun place to be.
