I'm moving out of Charlottesville for work, and am looking to sublet my lovely apartment in McIntyre Square (3 minutes drive from Downtown Charlottesville) from March 1 - August 31, 2021 (further extension directly with Woodard Properties possible). I've been in the unit for 18 months, and really enjoyed living here - it's spacious, airy, modern, and very convenient. The bedroom and bathroom are both huge with a walk-in closet, and the wifi is 5G and extremely fast. 1-2 minute's walk from The Gym Charlottesville, Rocky Top Climbing, and Charlottesville BJJ, amongst other restaurants and shops. Just a few quick details as follows: - Rent - $1,250 per month (includes Ting 5G Wifi and trash collection at $86) - Utilities - $50/month for electricity, and $15/month for gas - to be paid along with rent ($1,315 total) - Deposit - Half a month's rent ($625) to be paid at the outset along with first month's rent, and returned at the end of the sublet period assuming satisfactory conclusion of lease - Amenities - The building has a shared roof deck and grill for tenants to hang out on - Pet-friendly - assuming no significant wear to the apartment over the duration of the sublease The property manager (Woodard Properties) are really professional and above-board, and have been prompt in fixing the minor issues (lightbulbs going out etc) over the course of my lease.
